Holiday Recycling Reminders

As the season winds down, Lombard Public Works encourages residents to recycle and dispose of seasonal items responsibly. Here’s how you can help keep our community clean and green:

Free Holiday Tree Pick Up

From January 5–16, residents can place holiday trees at their curbsides for free disposal. Please ensure all tinsel, ornaments, and decorations are removed before placing the tree out for pickup.

Holiday Light Recycling

Don’t toss those old or unwanted holiday lights, extension cords, or scrap wiring—recycle them instead! A convenient collection bin is located at the Public Works facility, 1051 Hammerschmidt Avenue. The last day to drop off items is Monday, January 19.

However, residents may request a temporary exemption of overnight parking at www.frontlinepss.com/lombard.
