Free Leaf Collection Underway Lombard’s annual six-week free leaf pick-up program for residents is underway, and will continue through Friday, Dec 12, when all yard waste collection will end for the year. During this time, residential property owners may place an unlimited number of paper bags containing only leaves at the curb on their regular Waste Management collection day. No stickers are required for leaf-filled paper bags during this time period.
Help Keep Leaves Away from Storm Drains As leaves continue to fall, the Village reminds residents to help keep streets and storm drains clear. Keeping leaves out of the roadway helps prevent street flooding and protects local waterways. While Village street sweepers make regular rounds, residents can make a big difference by clearing leaves and debris near storm drains between sweepings.
